The Challenge:
Damien Tisseau, manager of Okbox Cholet, was once advised by a friend and fellow Okbox manager: “You should get into self storage; it’s a business with a bright future.” The idea aligned perfectly with Damien’s vision, allowing him to combine roles as both an investor and operator.
While researching suppliers, Damien had the good fortune to meet Jesus Paulin from Janus, who introduced him to the Nokē Smart Entry system and its innovative approach. The concept appealed to Damien as it enabled him to open his first facility without hiring staff, thanks to electronic locks that allowed for remote control and management.
The Solution:
Janus simplified the process by handling the layout design and unit mix for the storage units. Damien only needed to share his plans, and Janus took care of the rest.
With a few months of experience under his belt, Damien is thrilled with his decision. He plans to expand further, opening three or four more facilities over the next three years. All in partnership with Janus, of course!
