At the onset of the project, Securum aspired to create a first-class facility, utilising the latest technical solutions. The company provides storers with a secure, dry and convenient facility that is ideal for the Algarve climate. The Nokē Smart Entry system allows Securum to offer customers a user friendly and reliable solution for 24-7 access. Nokē also provides additional security benefits as customers will know who has been at the facility and when.

The challenge:

The Securum team has been operating in the property and logistics sector in Sweden for many years and came to Algarve to start up a new business in self storage. Initially there were some challenges, as there were aspects of the industry that were different to what they were used to in Sweden. Fortunately, they received excellent advice from their project manager as well as all the other companies they worked with. Janus Europe's strong reputation was one of the reasons that they were chosen as the main supplier and their Sales Manager Martyn Dickinson provided the team with invaluable support and guidance. The fact that Janus managed to successfully complete the build during a time when the world was dealing with both the Covid pandemic and Brexit is impressive.

The Solution:

The Securum team describes Janus Europe as a very solid and professional company and are delighted with the project planning, installation and after care service received. The company's technical solutions made it possible for them to be flexible in the installation, e.g. changing units when required. Overall, Janus did a fantastic job and the cooperation with the local team was a “walk in the park”. In addition, the Nokē Smart Entry System enabled the Securum team to achieve their vision of a modern, state-of-the-art self storage facility.
