Store More Self Storage is a family-run business, based in the UK. Since the doors first opened in 2016, providing excellent customer service has been the company's top priority. Owner and founder Dean Booty is very passionate about the industry and, in fact, hosts a very successful self storage podcast. As an approved member of the Self Storage Association, Store More Self Storage has taken traditional self storage to the next level by using automation. Their facility on Clough Road, Hull is a fully automated site with the Nokē Smart Entry access control system installed. This enables customers to store their belongings with 24 hour instant access using only a smart phone.

The challenge:

The success of the first Store More site, a fully built facility with continuously high levels of occupancy, meant it was time to expand. The team behind Store More Self Storage has over 10 years’ experience working in the industry. After being in the sector for many years, the team recognised the importance of keeping up with the latest trends to stay ahead of competition. In 2021 an opportunity arose and a new 20,000 sq. ft. site was found. Store More wanted their new store to be of the highest standard, focussing on security and automation.

The Solution:

The team at Janus Europe offered a free consultation and worked alongside Store More to find the best solution. Incorporating the latest technology and embracing automation from Nokē, it was decided that running a fully automated store was the best option for Store More. This gave the team an option to manage the site remotely with increased security.
