IT Support Administrator

To ensure an effective IT deployment including infrastructure, desktop support and internal procedures in conjunction with global team.

Reports to: IT Manager

Responsibilities and duties for the role will include:

  • Managing Desktops, Mobile Phones and Printers
  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers
  • Support with upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
  • Support with implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
  • Creating user accounts and performing access control
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems
  • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data
  • Support on a variety of IT projects & IT systems maintenance
  • Remote support and On-site support
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.

Key Attributes / Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite – Office, Teams, SharePoint
  • Understand and be able to troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems
  • Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies such as Dynamics NAV
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
