Fully digital storage chain Green Storage, a long-standing customer of Janus International Europe, has just launched a new facility in Handen, south of Stockholm.
The Handen site uses the same digital platform, the Nokē Smart Entry system by Janus International, as all other Green Storage facilities. This means that the entire customer journey takes place in a mobile application, including the selection of storage, contract signing as well as digital keys to the entry gate, the facility entrance and the customer’s own unit.
“It’s about smart, user-friendly digital technology that people demand in addition to an affordable storage solution,” says Mats Steijner, operations manager, who also emphasizes the sustainability benefits. “Our business is based on people not throwing their stuff away, and instead storing, saving, reusing or selling.”
Later this year Green Storage will open facilities in Täby and Täby Kyrkby, with many more to follow.
“Our plan is to open 20 sites in the Stockholm region over the next five years and we are experiencing an ever-increasing demand,” says Stefan Nilsson, CEO.
