Janus is committed to managing Environmental Social Governance (ESG) factors throughout our organisation to identify opportunities to create unique value and drive sustainable growth. We have made a pledge to reduce our carbon footprint and strive for 100% recyclability.
One of the many sustainability initiatives we support is a reforestation programme run by community interest company JUST ONE Tree.

ACCREDITATIONS
Janus maintains a business management system designed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management standards. Janus holds Authorised Economic Operator status and benefits from an exceptionally strong supply chain network.
Our raw materials originate from companies that adhere to strict ESG guidelines and our timber suppliers meet the UK Forestry Commission standards (FSC, PEFC) and International standard for wood packaging, ISPM 15.
We also participate in the Swedish eBVD Construction Product Declaration initiative, providing transparent information on our range, allowing customers to view the sustainability of products ‘from cradle to end of life’. Additionally, we have secured a Zero Waste to Landfill certificate with Janus scoring an excellent 99.59% diversion from landfill.

Janus offers GreenCoat® Pural BT by SSAB, a pioneering Nordic quality steel product that features a bio-based technology coating with a substantial portion of the traditional fossil oil replaced by Swedish rapeseed oil. This patented solution reduces the environmental footprint, is fully recyclable, and stands at the forefront of sustainable solutions.
