Janus Europe is proud to sponsor our very own Jonny Davies, a maintenance engineer at the Peterlee production centre of excellence. We have a fantastic pool of talent at Janus, but this is certainly a different skillset! Jonny Davies is a motorcycle stunt rider, who is the current British & Scottish Champion and even holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest motorcycle handlebar wheelie.
This summer, Jonny travelled around the UK and Europe competing in a range of shows. One of his recent trips was to Edinburgh and the crowd enjoyed the performance so much that all of his merchandise sold out. Jonny then headed straight to the Czech Republic and achieved an incredible no 5 world ranking. This event was followed by six shows over two days in Peterborough. 2022 promises to be even busier as Jonny has already booked several events.
Jonny Davies said: “I have had a great year competing and performing at display shows. It was brilliant to get back in front of crowds and see people enjoying themselves. Receiving positive feedback from the shows and placing 5th at the Czech competition has motivated me to keep pushing my limits and I’m very grateful for the support from Janus.”
